Teaching Methodology

To facilitate long term learning (spanning several years), all our classes are conducted online. Students are encouraged to participate in once weekly live sessions and use the recordings provided for revision in between the week. Courses are designed for long term study and random drop-ins is not advised.

As per tradition, this knowledge is given freely to those who seek it. Anyone wishing to donate to the organisation or one of the teachers, may contact us do so.

Tattva Bodha

Meaning “Knowledge of the truth”, is an introductory and foundational text to Vedanta that all new students are advised to start with. We have new batches commencing 2-3 times every year. 

Criterion: Foundation essential.

Revision advised for old students.

Bhagavad Geeta

Known as the “Song of The God” is one of the 3 main pillars in the study of Advaita Vedanta. Bhagavad Geeta gives the highest knowledge of the self and aims at imparting Self Realization. In the process, it also addresses various aspects of practical life and overcoming suffering.

Criterion: After completion of Tattva Bodha or in parallel.

Vedic Chanting Classes

Mondays & Thursdays | 6:30pm (IST)

Vibrations of Vedic Chanting are highly purifying even without understanding the meaning. Students already studying the text will benefit even more. Bhagavad Geeta Chanting classes are currently available.

Criterion: Suitable for everyone

A whatsapp group where 3-5 min recording of one verse daily is posted.

Introductory texts giving original teachings in concise form from renowned Acharyas in the Parampara. Some give the whole cosmos of teaching and others concentrate on specific aspects.

Criterion: Completion of at least one Vedantic Text like Tattva Bodha

Acharya Ravi Easwaran currently has 2 ongoing batches. He will be covering the 10 Mukhya Upanishads commented on by Adi Shankaracharya and also some others.

Criterion: After completion of detailed study of Bhagavad Geeta.

Important note

Study of Advaita Vedanta requires a long term commitment. While these classes are provided freely, we ask you to respect the time of the teachers & administrators of this group who are providing this service. Please only register for the classes if you feel able to dedicatedly show up for the live classes and can rearrange your other commitments accordingly. Students who will follow exclusively with the recordings due to time difference, etc. are requested to inform the teacher beforehand to avoid being removed from the group for non-attendance.
